M Moser Associates required two minimalist carpets to create distinct zonal spaces within various areas of this new 10,700 sq ft office fitout in Central London. The flooring goal was to ensure a clear demarcation between workspaces and traffic areas whilst maintaining functional design in spatial planning and aesthetics.​

Collaboration and Design:

Commfloor teamed closely with M Moser designers to explore harmonious shades that would define the zones effectively. This partnership ensured that the selected carpets not only met their functional needs but also aligned with the overall design vision of the office.

AA Flooring carried out this superb installation with the finished tiles appearing as if they were a roll carpet.​

Product Selection:

Cobalt SDN was chosen for its hard-wearing, slightly two-tone, level loop pile finish.

This carpet is ideal for high-traffic areas due to its durability and aesthetic appeal.

• Cobalt SDN is the base colourway for the Cobalt Design collection, offering a wide range of design combinations across six additional contemporary ranges.

• Available in 28 colours - 14 balanced Neutrals, and 14 on-trend accent colours

• Constructed with Solution-Dyed Nylon (SDN), the most durable fibre known to carpets.

Ecofuse:

An innovative ecological alternative comprised of recycled safety glass, replacing traditional latex adhesive compounds in all our carpets.

Benefits:

• Contains no chlorine or phthalates.

• Minimizes the use of toxic adhesives.

• Enhances the sustainability of the carpet.

Greenbase:

A sustainable alternative to classic bitumen backing in tiles.

Benefits:

• Modified bitumen is made with 70% recycled material.

• Less harmful to the environment.

• Minimal VOC emissions.

 

Results:

The installation successfully created distinct zones across the office, enhancing spatial flow and supporting functionality. Beyond aesthetics, this project showcased a commitment to sustainability with environmentally friendly carpets, aligning with the client’s values.
